Irving began working with horses at a very young age. He started riding in Europe with over 200 wins. During his career he had over 600 wins in the United States. He was the leading turf rider at Canterbury Park.

Irving also finds replacement homes for retired thoroughbreds.

He has a new role as Racing Ambassador for Canterbury Park. This consists of hosting corporate events and speaking about my experiences as a professional jockey, booking private events for corporate meetings, company picnics and social gatherings.

Irving's hobbies include mountain biking, motorcycle riding and horse breeding.

The Rotary Club of Edina meets at 12:15 p.m. Thursdays at the Edina Country Club. All are welcome. Cost for lunch and the meeting is $20. Cash, check and credit card payments are accepted. There is a service fee for credit card payments.
