No Rotary meeting Sept. 27; Gala is Sept. 29

There will be no Rotary Club of Edina meeting Thursday, Sept. 27, due to the Edina Rotary Foundation Fundraiser & Gala "Rotary's Got Talent" Saturday, Sept. 29, at the Metropolitan Ballroom & Clubroom in Golden Valley. The Gala counts as our official meeting this week. Registration for the Gala is closed, but you can bid in the Online Auction even if you are not attending. Our next regular meeting will be Oct. 4. This will be Prospective Member Day for the Club! All Rotarians are encouraged to bring friends and colleagues that are interested in learning more about Rotary and our club. The speaker Oct. 4 will be Kate Mortenson, president and CEO of the 2019 Minneapolis Final Four Local Organizing Committee. She will play a key role in efforts to ensure the next huge sporting event headed for the Twin Cities is a big success.
