Wednesday, October 6 we will be gathering together for live meetings held at CW's Bar and Restaurant, 8302 Normandale Blvd., Bloomington, MN 55437. We will meet at 5:30 for happy half hour and our speaker presentation from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. No registration is necessary, just show up. Sylvester Thomas of the Edina Noon Rotary Club will speak to managing financial services both at the personal production level as well as at the corporate management level. Sylvester Thomas Jr LUTCF is the Branch Manager for The Twin Cities Office located in Edina, MN. Sylvester’s responsibility is to support existing Financial Advisers in their growth, development, and overall business models while recruiting, training and developing new financial representatives to the firm. He is also responsible for the supervision of the Advisers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
Sylvester has worked in the Financial Services Industry for over 36 years, three of which were spent in personal production meeting the needs of his clients. His 36 years also included 19 years as a Managers of Financial Services in Connecticut, 6 as a Managing Director with a Jacksonville based Financial Services Company, 3 as a Partner with New York Life, and 3 as a Managing director with Pioneer Financial Group in Springfield Mass.
Sylvester is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), The Society of Financial Services Professionals. He also holds his FINRA Series 7,24,65 and 63 registrations.
Sylvester is a member of the MPLS Regional Chamber. Sylvester and Tanya currently attend Bethel Rock Church in Richfield.
Sylvester has been married to his wife, Tanya for 30 years and they have three children: two daughters (29 & 27) and one son (25).
