Thanksgiving Thank You

 

To the members of the Rotary Club of Edina and the Edina Morningside Rotary Club:

Thank you so much to all of you who provide such wonderful support for our annual shared Thanksgiving Basket Assembly and Delivery Day. 

Once again, 85 families enjoyed a traditional American Thanksgiving meal, families that otherwise may have had no such opportunity.  Many of you are right there at the Edina Country Club working on the day before Thanksgiving, packing baskets for delivery, restocking our assembly tables, bringing in bread, oranges, knit items for kids, blankets, towels.  It really is a wonderful sight to see.  And many of you donated canned goods to fill those baskets.  And I know that all of you support this service effort through the support of your club.

 

So, once again, thank you to all of you who make this day of service a reality to so many families in need.  I know that those of you who deliver meals throughout the Twin Cities are often greeted with wide smiles and many words of thanks.  You brighten peoples’ holidays with your generous gifts.  Well done!
