Tim Mulcrone and our own Tom McNellis will be the program speakers at the Thursday, Sept. 28, Rotary Club of Edina meeting. They will speak about The Rotary Foundation's PolioPlus program. Mulcrone is the Rotary District 5950 Polio Chair, a post he has held for six years. He is a member of the Chanhassen Rotary Club. McNellis is a longtime Rotary Club of Edina member and a Major Donor to TRF.

New members Jake Johnson and Dave Phillips will be officially inducted into the club at the meeting.

Tim Mulcrone's first Rotary Experience was as a Group Study Exchange team member to Chile in 1985. Mulcrone was so grateful for that international cultural and professional experience that he and 24 others chartered the Chanhassen Rotary in 1987.

Since then, he has served three times as  President of Rotary Club of Chanhassen, traveled the world and served the Rotary District in several areas including Group Study Exchange Committee, Club Visioning Committee, and District Conference Committee. But Mulcrone's real passion has been PolioPlus. He has been interviewed for radio and newspaper and delivered nearly 100 speeches around the country. He is in his sixth year as Rotary District 5950 Polio Chair.
