The Rotary Club of Edina has once again collected holiday gifts for families and youth. More than ever, this year there was a need for help and support. Rotarian Jean Morrison organized the Holiday Giving Program which donated to Cornerstone and 66 West again this year. Items wished for and delivered were:
Cornerstone: Gifts for families as they are hunkered down this winter – puzzles, adult and children’s coloring books, small toys, games. They are also in need of plastic snow mittens for kids, coats, and boots for adults and kids and women’s pajamas.
66 West: Gift cards from Target, Cub Foods, Marshalls and WalMart.

Rotary Thanksgiving Baskets were delivered to 85 families in need of a good meal and Thanksgiving cheer. Thank you for your support of this annual act of service and generosity. Thanks to those of you who volunteered during the event, to those of you who assembled and delivered baskets, and to those of you who contributed canned goods or contributions to help stock our supplies for the big day.
And a shout out to our partners in the Edina Morningside Rotary Club who generously support this event and participate in so many helpful ways. Thank you, EMRC!
I am so grateful to share the determination of our Clubs to not let COVID prevent us from helping others in times of need. So thanks for adapting to the changes we made in the event to help keep our people healthy, and thanks again for making this annual event a part of our Rotary life together.

Back to the ZOOM only platforms and the continued excellent editing talents of C-Vision Productions (Chris Laskowski) it has been decided to make better use of the taped and edited meetings that are posted to You Tube and use them as our new "In Review" format. This will eliminate the duty of "The Barker" note taker/writer and we will, for the time being, no longer publish written reviews. In-person meeting photos will resume when we can meet again. Keep in mind watching the You Tube video counts as a make-up. Let Becci know what meeting dates you watched and she will mark you as attended.
We will post the link to the last meeting video taped (see above) and photos from the meeting.
