Sue joined the Alzheimer’s Association Minnesota-North Dakota Chapter as the chief executive officer in 2012, and became the Region 5 leader for the Association in January of 2017. Her Region includes Minnesota, North Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin.   For two years in a row before COVID, the Chapter hosted the largest Walk to End Alzheimer’s® in the country, raising $1.7 million and The Purple Gala in the Twin Cities raised a record 1.1 million in 2019.
