Two foundations, one humanitarian mission.

Members of the Rotary Club of Edina support two charitable foundations, the Edina Rotary Foundation and The Rotary Foundation.

The Edina Rotary Foundation is the charitable arm of the Rotary Club of Edina. Money is raised through the Edina Rotary Foundation for the club’s service activities, projects and grants.

The Rotary Foundation is the charitable arm of Rotary International. Since it was founded more than 100 years ago, the Foundation has spent more than $4 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects. Money donated to The Rotary Foundation comes back to Rotary Districts, including our District 5950, to award grants. During the 2023-24 Rotary year, 478 District Grants totaling $27 million, 207 disaster response grants totaling $8 million, $1,199 global grants totaling $73 million and 1 program of scale grant for $2 million was awarded by TRF.

When a Rotarian donates $1,000 to The Rotary Foundation, they are recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow. Donors of $10,000 or more are considered Major Donors.
