Patrick is a General Partner and Managing Director, at Brightstone Venture Capital, an early-stage life science and technology venture fund. Patrick has founded multiple companies spanning diverse industries from tech, water technology, consumer products, energy services, and most recently the whiskey spirits space. Kelly and Patrick are lifelong Minnesotans and proud of their Irish American roots. Married for 18 years they have two children, Kieran and Flynn. This is their first foray into the world of whiskey. They are excited to serve the heart of the community, create jobs at the distillery, build a lasting brand and generally bring people together for good times.
In only the first year of being launched, Keeper’s Heart Whiskey has earned 81 awards and accolades, including, “Best Whiskey in a Highball,” at the World Cocktail Championships by the Beverage Testing Institute, Platinum and Gold at the Critics Challenge International Spirits Competition, Triple Gold at the Microliquor Spirit Awards, Gold at San Francisco World Spirits Competition, and a 96 points at the Las Vegas Global Spirits Awards.
