On Wednesday, November 24, members of the Rotary Club of Edina, along with members of the Edina Morningside Rotary Club, will prepare and deliver Thanksgiving meals to families in need throughout Edina. A roasted turkey, stuffing, cranberries, potatoes and gravy along with vegetables, oranges, even a delicious pie, make their way to area homes via active Rotarians and their families. With a side of warm knit mittens to help with the coming winter, these Thanksgiving Baskets bring some brightness and joy into the holiday season. Register for the luncheon and/or a basket assembly time.
Both clubs will join together for a family luncheon of soup, salad and sandwiches while socializing then, if they choose, organize their assembly teams, create two to three baskets and deliver them. Registration for the luncheon and assembly times can be found HERE. Contact Tom Cook with any event day questions or Becci Michalski with any registration requests or issues.
